An open-air rooftop lounge and dining terrace over a busy Gaya market street.
The brief
Problem.
A bare terrace baked in the sun by day and sat unused by night. The owner wanted a weather-tolerant rooftop that could seat thirty for dining and turn into a lounge later.
Our response
Solution.
We zoned the roof into a pergola-shaded dining deck and a low-seating lounge edge, added a green planter screen for privacy and wind, and used weatherproof finishes with warm festoon and uplighting for the evenings.
